Huggins was a very experienced and successful D1 coach who misjudged a talent.  Frank is a guy who has totally mismanaged a talent.  Frank's power trip and ego have gotten in our way much more than the inexperience of our players.  How can you expect them to gain experience when you bench them immediately following a mistake?  And that screaming doesn't do any good when your players just tune you out because that's all you ever do.  If all you do is scream, that just means you're a loud talker, it doesn't have the intended effect.

How can you expect the team to win games when you don't bench your shitty players?

The adoring masses, the Ropinfeet posts in GopowercatTardville about how Frank was doing K-State a huge service by sticking around for a paltry $1.55 million dollars a year, the cowboy boots, dinner with Frank . . . it all adds up to a persona that's cashing checks he can't cover in real life.

Kind of sad . . . really.

This is going to really affect depth when Pullen is sitting out of the NIT.

Really the only question is whether we lose CK or NR first.

Like when he benched CK for the second half?  Or like how  he's benched Russell for however long?  Or when all our bigs fouled out, (except Wally) because Wally wasn't allowed to play that game even though we were already short two bigs in CK and Freddy?  That kind of benching?  Of course you bring a kid off the court after a few stupid mistakes but you have to put him back in the game.  You can't just break the kids down, you have to build them back up or you end up with Wally's and Freddy's.  Say all you want about those two players but this team is nowhere near deep enough to lose 2 bigs in the middle of the conference.

Like when he benched CK for the second half? No, that's benching a good player. Or like how  he's benched Russell for however long? Yeah, Russell sucks, too. Say all you want about those two players but this team is nowhere near deep enough to lose 2 bigs in the middle of the conference.Freddy was good. He was a big loss.

Did we get final clarification was this an FP or TC?  Or was he both?

Confirmed FP.  Doesn't seem to be much of a TC.  I still love Wally....though I'm contractually obligated to hope he dies.

FP's quit, TC's get kicked off.  Hope this helps

First thanks for the help, but what if a coach is constantly trying to run a TC until the melting point and then the TC takes the FP way out and quits.  Wouldn't this example be a hybrid?

7 players have now transferred or quit the team during Frank's 3 1/2 + years as our head coach.

Brown, Anderson, Herrera, Awaji, Sutton, Asprilla, and Judge.

if you consider abdul herrera a "basketball player" youre a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

From Rob Cassidy story:

"Wally just thought about, and he wanted to move into a different direction," Malone said. "I think he and (Martin) had their differences here and there throughout the year. All that made him want to make a change and try something different."
