Did we get final clarification was this an FP or TC?  Or was he both?

Said he left the team, so I will assume FP.

Probably just an FP, but hopefully he was a TC, too.

Confirmed FP.  Doesn't seem to be much of a TC.  I still love Wally....though I'm contractually obligated to hope he dies.

FP fits my agenda much better.  I'm just going to continue pretending this year is all Frank's fault and not the result of horrible talent on the court.

"i could kinda see this coming....emotional issues...he wasnt having fun."

Really, gtting constantly berated along with his teammates at the whim of his permamad coach?  who wouldmt like that

Yeah, how could Wally have possibly known that Frank would yell at him when he signed his LOI?

Dood, Frank is totally off his rocker this year.  Really no comparing this season to last.  Plus, the kid is having depression issues, maybe you could cut him a little slack and try to make him feel a little better about himself?
jesus rough ridin' christ. you are the biggest Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) on this board.

Care to enlighten us with the other coaches in the country that are exhibiting Frank-like behavior?  Top that off with our team'S horrible play and I would say that Frank is off his rocker.
Its not franks fault wally sucks and is depressed. No reason to coddle or give preferential treatment to a player that sucks imo.

7 players have now transferred or quit the team during Frank's 3 1/2 + years as our head coach.

Brown, Anderson, Herrera, Awaji, Sutton, Asprilla, and Judge.

Kinda coincidental that Wally didn't start sucking until he played for Frank, isn't it?  Actually, I seem to remember him being a total badass before Frank...

Sutton and Asprilla were big blows to the team. Everyone else, not so much.

It's a lot more fun getting yelled by your head coach when you're winning.

Yeah somehow I don't see a vid of our guys imitating Frank on ESPN anytime soon.

True, Huggins was much meaner to Bennett. Other than that, both players pretty much sucked. :dunno:

So now 9 players have transferred or quit the team since Frank has taken over. Can anyone name another program where something like this has happened?

Huggins was a very experienced and successful D1 coach who misjudged a talent.  Frank is a guy who has totally mismanaged a talent.  Frank's power trip and ego have gotten in our way much more than the inexperience of our players.  How can you expect them to gain experience when you bench them immediately following a mistake?  And that screaming doesn't do any good when your players just tune you out because that's all you ever do.  If all you do is scream, that just means you're a loud talker, it doesn't have the intended effect.

Don't worry. Michigancat says this kind of stuff doesn't affect recruiting. So as long as Frank stays were fine.
