i thought carriers let you upgrade in the month you're due. meaning if your last phone upgrade was october 29, then you could go in on oct 1, 2 yrs later and upgrade. maybe it's just sprint that does this.

maybe, dunno. But if Nexus comes out in November i'll just wait until then. Will it be $200?

I'm not trying to be some Apple superfan, but they make good stuff. The 4S was a significant upgrade from my Droid Incredible and it competes with most other phones out there. The only complaint would be screen size, but the clarity is so good I don't notice that much. 4G could be an issue as well, but I don't have it anyway. I'm sure the 5 will address both 4G and a redesign/bigger screen.

Siri is very cool and the phone is really quick. Web page loading (both on 3G) compared to my Incredible is night and day. Battery life is really good as well.

I don't understand why Samsung put the same GPU in the Nexus as is in my 1st gen Galaxy S which is a year and a half old.

Opera Mobile on android is by far the fastest mobile browser around. The only advantage Siri has is it can process more natural language, virtually anything you can siri you can accomplish with the voice search on android (sans solving calculus problems from wolfram alpha)

i'm sure the GS2 will have ICS sometime in 2012, probably 1Q. the GS2 doesn't have a keyboard either though.
