My mom has an S7 on AT&T that is riddled with adware. The guy at the store says nothing can be done and that Reddit says it's a problem with the S7. My S7 active does not have this problem.

Anyway, is there any recourse? Switch carriers and get a new phone?

I would agree but I don't get why the att man said that a hard reset won't fix it. She had no apps on her phone that I don't have on my S7 Active.

What's not clear about it? They are releasing new phones every year to make a profit. SDK buys these phones, so it's hypocritical to say I'm in the pocket of big Greed. This isn't hard to follow.

I didn't follow the greed thing, I thought tbt was saying Samsung doesn't announce new phones so that's why I was confused.
