Is that different than the button above the volume buttons on the S7? I can reprogram that button for 3 different apps.

settings > display > home screen > apps button > Show apps button

^ this gets rid of the "swipe up or down for all apps" animation every effing time you go to the home screen

i haven't figured out how to get rid of the bixby garbage, other than throwing the WHOLE DAMN PHONE off the bixby canyon bridge

It wipes all data and resets to out of the box condition. I suppose it might be possible for fbi forensics to reclaim some of that data, but I don't think think flash memory works like that.

Wipe then encrypt before you ever use it...I haven't had a phone that wasn't encrypted for years.
