Actually I did, not that it should matter.

what did you major in and when did you graduate? if recently, did you have a favorite union or library? anschutz is pretty decent imo. thoughts?

I didn't know that about juco's but what I meant was that people at that level cared enough about sports to give the extra benefits, imagine at the D1 level. I golfed for a year at Barton and then went to KU.

Didn't get kicked off, I just sucked! I had wanted to go to KU but thought I would give golf a shot. I hated it (because I sucked) so it was off to KU for me.

did you know there used to be a poster named Brewcrew who lied about being o n the golf team at ku? He is like some mgr at Longhorns that is next to that gas station in Lawrence.

I miss that rascal, shouldn't have destroyed him so regularly.

Oh Beems you're so cute when you have to defend the corruption of ku athletics. When did I ever say that K-State wasn't dirty?? It's just that I'd like to think that K-State isn't stupid enough to funnel money directly to players through an assistant. ku is just a lot more brazen.

IN a recent article about the Kansas State alum that now runs the ku athletic department (whose mentors are LHC Bill Snyder, Jon Wefald and Bob Krause) it said that ku had $14.5 million dollars in contributions last year for athletics, K-State, $14.3 million . . . rock on Pig Farmers and Lottery Winners!! I guess you haven't checked commodities prices lately huh?

What are your actual thoughts and opinions on the ticket situation. I personally believe that those ludicrously ugly people should never of been employed. Low self esteem, prolly really tough middle/high school careers and all around lack of good smellzall contribute to higher likelihood that they will be thiefs/shenaniganizers/misanthropes. Hence, steal from their bosses.

Recruits/players getting money? Of course that happens. I dont know how. But I dont doubt that this ticket scandel issue had nothing to do with players and $$$.

One of my friends out here in Vegas is from Manhappening. She got out of there and went to Pitt St but her dad owns a big car dealership down there so her family has been very well connected to the KSU athletic program for her entire life. Knew many football players, basketball players over the years etc. Anyways, Luis Colon told her one time that late at night, he would drive deep in the noting of central ks and meet up with frank to get a bag of cash.

So yea... thats one way to do it.

Yea i dont know enough about that part of the case to explain it either. Looks freaking terrible. Whatever, I am looking forward to seeing who the other "parties" are that the plea deals are being made for in the case right now. Guilty pleas are going in so it will be very interesting to see who gets hit. Whatever happens though, I am sure its being worked out somehow to where an individual or group is going to take the fall, not KU, not KU Athletics, and Not Lew Perkins. Just my opinion
