Wouldn't say anything much about Wally and Nick.  Said he has to play the guys who "gives us the best chance to win"

Said he wasn't mad at them and they aren't bad kids blahblahblah.

my only theory if it was practice related:  What if they were turning the ball over against our crap ass press?  they would have double the turnovers of kelly and sprads

Even if remotely true, what a wonderful place to be mid-January.

write this season off already.

Building for 2011.

no matter who we lose to the rest of teh way...the real crushing blow would be if any of our commits reconsider.

AR-T is the only one that could really reconsider.  So, not too crushing.

Coach's radio show live from Carlos O'Kelly's was good last night.  A caller asked how they alleviate concerns from potential recruits about attrition, namely Dom and Freddy.  Frank said no recruit has ever had that concern.  Then speaking as to Dom, stated that Dom just had to get home to his daughters.  As to Freddy, stated that Mama Sprill developed an inner ear infection before the season which had been weighing heavily on Freddy, and on Friday Freddy decided to go home to help care for her and to play pro ball to help pay bills.  Caller was satisfied.

Then Wyatt wouldn't let it go and said (in a long-winded wyatt way) something to the effect of basketball-wise, Freddy sucked.  Frank more or less agreed and blamed it all on him being preoccupied with mom and the inner ear infection.  Said when players have outside distractions like that and can't be focused in on hoop and be at their best, it's a waste of everyone's time.

Pretty much ignored CK revealing that Spri was a FP at Friday's practice and left.

yeah, even in a shitty country like columbia, an inner ear infection isn't going to be so distracting that he can't even make a dunk shot.

It's like most places. Safe as long as you're not a dumbass and stay out of the dangerous areas. As Latin American countries go, it's pretty nice. Plus, since it's still suffering from the whole Pablo thing and since americans freak out about stuff like guerrillas in the jungle (even when they're on the other side of the country), it can be a relatively cheap trip.

And even other Latin Americans think Colombian chicks are hot. Really great mix of European features and indigenous skin tones (the total opposite of Chile, btw. Horribly ugly country).

Used to live Santiago. Great country to live in. It's amazing what you can do in one weekend there. Plus, Argentina is not far and its stock full of ridiculous hotties who are snobby but in a really endearing, sexy way.

Just some undergrad work. I was going to be a lit professor at the time.
