Chris Mack?  seems like X recruits well/decent.  they have 5 top 150 players in the last two years ('10 and '11) - ksu has only had 2, both  in '11 and both were rated below the 2 that X had.

Pastner is more realistic.

We need someone with K-State ties.  The perfect hire is either Steve Henson or Tim Jankovic.  I would lean towards Tim because he has shown he can win at a smaller school and he has paid the necessary dues in the coaching world.  If either of them were our coach right now we would still be ranked in the top 10, and there is absolutely no question about that.

didn't think 'noudj was a sock until this post.

No.  It was pretty good for aTm.  Also hired Bryan Davis's dad and got DeAndre Jordan.

Anthony Grant looks fantastic on ESPN tonight, I hope he still wants to come to MHK.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Except he stole Patrick Patterson from us.

But yeah.  He inherited a lot at aTm, too.

Will TT make consider Billy Clyde after PK is shown the door?  He would be a ridiculously good fit but aren't there are some skeletons in Billy's closet that might keep TT from  going after him, duis and such?

Chris Mack following in the footsteps of Sean Miller, Thad Matta, Pete Gillen recruiting to an urban environment surrounded by more bball talent is in no way comparable to Frank Martin taking over a program that was dormant for two decades in the middle of rural northeastern Kansas with very little Big 12 talent at state high schools. Mack would fall flat on his face at KSU.

Pfffft. Jank is 8-11 and 0-8 in conference play this year at ISU. Do not want.

Avery Johnson? Sort of young - has a ring in the assn as a player and success as a HC as well. Oh and you know he is VERY elite-smelling - and his voice is adorable.

a guy who came up completely in the assn is a bit of a gamble, don't really know if he's going to be able to identify talent/recruit well.  on the other hand, having all that experience in the league is something that might appeal to the 'cruits.
