well, when I click on my link I don't see it, but clicking from google says there's an outdoor court w/ games saturday and sunday mornings at 8, and one that says the fresno st. rec sucks. I'd just drive by that park and see what the games look like.

so, I moved and found a new early morning pickup game. Hardcore regulars everyday. Overall the quality of play is pretty good, but the court is tiny and doesn't have a 3 point line near the baseline and even straightaway 3's only count as 1. Since pretty much all I can do is bomb 3's, it makes me about as half as valuable as I would be on a real court.

They're also the type guys who LOVE, I mean LOVE backdoor cuts. You know how at some pickup games someone will make a nice move off the dribble and everyone will be like "OOOOOH, DAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNN" even if he misses the layup?

Yeah, these guys do the same thing for a backdoor cut that ends in a missed layup.

Today guarded a guy who got pissed when I didn't let him push me around in the block. He just stood in the lane trying to push me out. For like 10 seconds. What an bad person.

I started playing in a city league recently after not playing basketball for almost 2 years. My brain is all like "hey do this sick move and spin around this guy to the hoop just like you used to" but my legs are all like "no".
