From last weekend's Rumble in the Bronx:

"Kenton Facy (The Rens 2013) – All arms and legs, Facy is a 6’8” jumping jack who can be a terror on the offensive glass when his motor is working like it was Friday night. A supreme athlete, Facy rose above opponents who had him boxed out time and again to secure rebounds and extra possessions for his team. He’s also a threat to dunk anything within 5 feet and provides rim protection with his long arms and explosion off the floor."

Out of all the prospects KSU is recruiting for '13, and there are plenty, I think Marcus Foster might be the most underrated by the national recruiting services. None of the big 3 have him ranked at all, but he's got a decent offer list(see post from yesterday), TX hoops has him in their Top 10, ahead of Kendal Harris. From everything I've read about him, he's a physical combo guard who just knows how to get buckets:

"Marcus Foster (Dallas Mustangs 2013) – A 6’3” guard with a strong frame Foster knocked down perimeter shots in bunches. He has an ultra quick release and the confidence that every shot is going in, a lethal combination for any elite shooter. Foster also used his strength to finish around the rim but is clearly more comfortable scorching the nets from outside at this point."

Recent article on Saddler talking about his visit plans, recruitment, and plans for this summer.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/recruiting-blog/bal-tevon-saddler-has-visits-on-tap-dwayne-morgan-picking-up-offers-20120614,0,1397124.story

Scouting report on Saddler from 1 of his HS games this past season, Kurk Lee is a '15 PG that KSU has also recently contacted:

"Tevon Saddler, G, St. Frances (2013): Saddler (6-4, 220 lbs) is a dangerous slasher who can score in bunches when he gets going. He tends to shy away from his outside shot, which is something that he will really need at the college level. Saddler is getting many high mid-major looks and could turn into a high-major prospect by improving on some of the "small things," such as working better off the ball, and communicating more on defense with his teammates.

***As a side-note, St. Frances freshman point guard Kurk Lee has been very impressive this season backing up DaQuan Cook(3* UNLV signee). Just called up from the junior varsity weeks ago, Lee has become an key piece for the Panthers (11 points on Friday night). Expect to hear his name many times over the next four years. He could compete for a starting spot as soon as next year.

More stuff on Foster from last weekend's Rumble in the Bronx:

Joey Natale @Coast2CoastHoop
Marcus Foster of the Dallas Mustangs impressed me today as well. Kid can shoot, handle the ball, finish strong at the rim.

the lesson weber learned from his ui failure was to not recruit such talented players.

#kstate just got a commitment from 2013 small forward Alex Etherington. 3 star vintage Indiana kid has played well of late. Good get.

You know it's a bad get when KU doesn't talk about how shitty of a get it was.

Etherington sounds like might be able to develop into a blue collar role player on the wing, but taking him as the 1st commit in this class? Don't care how many ships we have to toss around here, I think we should slow played this kid a little more than this. Ugh.
