I know that the numbers predict a really close game, and kenpom has us as losing 51% of the time. Even Vegas has the Cats at +1.5 but I just can't see it happening. OSU's guards are undersized, and though Penn was highly rated, I think our guards will have their way with these guys. Especially on offense where, if he can stay on the floor defensively, a guy like Russell and McGruder as well would really light it up on offense.
On the inside, even without Kelly, I see the Cats with a distinct advantage. Both in sheer size and numbers (depth). This is especially true if Wally's improvement holds form against OSU.
Add that all to the fact that OSU has gotten beat by two opponents that we have shellacked and I see a rejuvenated KSU squad primed for a statement victory on the road to begin B12 play.
73-64 Cats. KSU builds takes a 6 point halftime lead to 10-12 4-5 minutes into the second half and the teams play fairly even from there.
KSU is better than OSU.
