I don't get the Russel hate.  He is really the only guard we have who consistently looks to drive the basket.  When his outside shot is falling, he can be lethal.  I personally really like his game and think we've suffered at times when he is on the bench.  Like during the UNLV game when he scored 11 in the first half and sat most of the second.  I wish his defense would pick up so Frank could play him more.

He commits an alarming amount of turnovers per minute played as a guard and has the worst assist to turnover ratio of all the guards.  He is also shooting 39.2% from the field and 28 % from three.  FT % has been excellent so there is that.  I like his ability to get to the basket and he seems to play aggressively, just needs to cut down on the turnovers.

Does 95 remind anyone else of Freddy? Freddy's D wasn't near as quick or aggresive, but Offensively they looked very similar. I haven't seen a jump shot from 95 yet, to determine if it's as godawful looking as Fred's though.

I'd like to take back the Russell could be a scorer comment.  For now.  The first half of UNLV had too much sway on me, he had ample opportunity in 5 more halves of basketball since that one.  And Frank gave him multiple chances today; he would yank him and rip him up and down, put him back in, and repeat about 5 minutes later. 

But Frank was equal opportunity ripping today.  Sprads, JHR, VO, Myles, Irving all got his wrath multiple times today.
