"Oh absolutely," Martin said. "I've had people from New York call me asking me if they can come to the game thinking it's a basketball game. They see the advertisement, it's basketball season and New York has not had a bowl game in years, so they assume it's basketball. Obviously Syracuse is involved. I can't even tell you how many people have reached out to me and said, 'Hey, when you get into town I want to come to your game.' I have to tell them, 'It's football. Not basketball.' They all say, 'Are you kidding me?'"Some still want to go."I've had a couple say they want tickets anyway," Martin said. "But, for the most part, they find out it's football and say, 'Oh, well we'll just wait and watch you when you come up here.'"
