Most are sold through the schools, and KSU offered theirs to season tix holders by Ahearn points some time ago.

I don't think this happened yet.  Hope not.

Best way to get them at a reasonable price is through a different school. i.e. Baylor or any other south school that doesn't give a crap about basketball

I'd guess that Colorado would be a good choice this year.  Could go either way with NU, however.....some may want to take this last opportunity to seem their team get fist mumped, but some may already be thinking about softball or whatev.

you are an IDIOT they cost the exact same through all schools, you might get them in better spots from schools who don't give a crap, but they will cost you the exact same as if you bought them from K-State, KU, etc

Look dude, if it was like last year the tickets for K-State have probably already sold out and if not they will to the highest paying season ticket holders. So if you are like me and don't have non-student season tickets or tournament tickets yet, the only other options are scalping, ticket outlets, which both were selling tickets for more than double face value last year, or through a crap school who doesn't give a eff and won't sell out their allotment so they will give good seats to you at the same price as the K-State tickets that you will not be able to get.  This will probably only work for the first couple of rounds though...

So when do:

A) tickets go on sale at schools that will have leftovers?
B) they open up the "lottery" to the public?

Last year my family paid $100 to join the Buffs Club and then bought Big 12 tournament tix through CU and it was still cheaper than getting them through K-State or KU.
