Free Throw Coach

If we make 75% of our FTs we win last night!

They are FREE throws!

They don't call it the charity stripe for nothing!

Were you sitting behind me last night?  Cause some old shirt tuck was and wouldn't shut up about this.

Free throws may not amount to many points, but this team's free throw shooting is truly pathetic. We're at the point where going into the bonus is a bad thing.

I just don't understand why Frank doesn't simply have them shoot FTs all pratice.  All we do is run man to man defense and we don't use an actual offense you have to practice.

WHAT IS FRANK DOING ALL PRACTICE?

Think of them as "discounted" throws from now on.

I'll tell you this much, when I was in high school, my Senior year I shot 73% from the line. You know why I was so rough ridin' good at them? Because I practiced in my backyard every single night. Every Single Night.

Best #heel and/or #babyface on this blogsite

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

Really?  It was the least surprising thing I've ever witnessed.

Judge's bricks late in the game hurt, but no more than the two dunks Samuels should have had.

I haven't seen so many simultaneously awkwardly missed high fives than what happened amongst our white ass crowd last night after Jamar hit both of a one-and-one in the second half.

Who do you think we can get as Off Coord / FT Coach?

Anyone have a good short list?

I will volunteer.  Was pretty good a FT in high school.  I know a few offensive sets that might benifit this team and play to it's strengths.

The team obviously needs to start all practices with about 3 hours of Knock Out and then move on into other things after that.

We always ended practice with a game of knock out.  Gotta make them when your tired.
Here is a freethrow drill we did as a team during preseason 2 a days.
The whole team JV and Vasity around 40 of us would line up on the base line.  We would each take turns shooting 10 freethrows.  Each missed freethrow was a suicide/line drill.  At each line we had to do a push up for each miss.

We did the suicides after each shooter so needless to say the last few guys to shoot couldn't make anything.  I was 2nd to last and still made 7 out of 10 and my arms felt like jello.  I don't remember howmany total suicides and pushups we did but it was a lot.
