Robinson broke Beau Morgan's major-college record for yards rushing by quarterbacks Saturday and became the first player in NCAA history with 1,500 yards rushing and 1,500 yards passing in one year.

That's the UM record book, when you look at it remember that Robinson's numbers don't include the Ohio State game.  Look at how many times his name appears in the rushing, passing, and total yards sections.  crap he's shattered Mike Hart's single-season rushing numbers.  He's a top 10 passer with over 2500 yards.  As a matter of fact I bet his name appears in that book more than any other player in the history of the school.

He's a 20 year old true sophomore.

How in the eff could anyone in their right mind see what happened on Saturday and say with any confidence that we would beat any bowl eligible teams?  We allowed a 3 win 8th place Sun Belt squad their highest point total of the year.  They rushed for nearly 100 yards over their average.  This team has progressively gotten worse each game, I must be watching a different team than Sugar Dick.

If in a perfect world we had everyone back from injury (Powell, Brod, Tremaine) and made sure that Carsy permanently stays on the sideline, we'd potentially win maybe half of those games on any given day. Iowa/SC/Penn State/Michigan/Notre Dame would probably kick our asses regardless. In our current state, we'd beat Boston College and maybe Tech/Cuse.

None of those guys play nor coordinate defense. I must not have made myself clear.  Even with scoring 41 against KSU, NT is still 83rd in the country in scoring offense.  I realize that BC and Syracuse have worse scoring offenses, but they don't play in the Sun Belt and don't have defenses in the 80's like UNT either.

I know that the defense is the main problem. If we had even a halfway mediocre defense, we'd be 9-3, possibly 10-2. But if we'd had that situation that I just described against UNT, we probably would've scored 70+. We'd probably be able to outscore at least some of those teams to get wins, especially if we took some heat off of DT.

Sweet, Denard only needs 7000 passing yds and 70 passing tds to claim the top spot.  And 3000 rushing yds and 36 rushing TDs.  I guess I didn't realize that TTU and Hawaii were programs of the same caliber as UM.  I'm sure that Denard would appreciate being lumped in with Herrell and Chang though.  Just think, the greatest player in Michigan history shares the same rarified air as CC/Klein!  7-5, bitches!!!  Denard is the GOAT!!  Feel free to post your rebuttal, I can do this all day!
