Going to be tough not watching him play against the Zags  :blank:

CK wouldn't have matter a whole bunch in this one.  Unless he would've magically brought some defensive spark (not likely), or would've been able to hit some of the many good looks from 3 in the 2nd half (2-12).

i can think of many more negative consequences than positive if Kelly played his first game tonight.

practically zero upside if he plays well and confidence sucking if he plays poorly.

I think he will have a very bad first game back and I would have preferred  it been tonight rather than Monday.

Not as worried about this one.  But Curt WAS our best post defender last year.  Tonight's defensive breakdowns were about effort more than anything, I'm just sayin' we need him going forward.  I don't trust Freddy or Wally to provide what Curt does.

I just don't like seeing poor perimeter defensive effort.  I can't say I'm completely suprised by it, but that was just a poor, poor effort for the entire game.

I agree we need CK BTW, I just don't think he would've made a major difference tonight.  Really, the major difference maker was VO simply b/c he came in the game and played really hard.

Still, it would have been nice to have Curt get a game under his belt before Gonzaga.  I'm really starting to not like this situation with Curtis, and think there is more to it than we are aware of.  UCONN is in a bit of heat with the NCAA maybe he isn't eligible? I hope that isn't the case, but hell, Scott Drew benches Dunn for 3 games because he Ike Turnered his girlfriend, Frank sits Curtis at least as long for not being a leader?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Agreed, it would've been nice to get CK some minutes, not only for Gonzaga, but the possible next game.

I'm not too worried about CK long term.  Really.

He might have been able to rebound some of those 3's...

As this saga matures it takes new twists and turns, :drink:, for instance, one position would be, ok ck sat some games including a big one with vt because of the timing and stuff and now he is back leading and crap and will play in kc. position 2 would be, nope he ain't leading yet so ck sit and watch us narrowly get by zaga and get crushed by duke.

Position 2 has some problems, in the neighborhood of my youth if you went this direction people might start to wonder if were scared and looking for an excuse to not have your program
measured for the world to see. :drink:.  I think Frank understands this and will play ck this week, but he could go... oh no, all super old school hoosier style and sit him halfway through
his d-league rookie year.  Another problem is just how hard is Frank anyway, you gonna pass up a chance to play #1 duke toughguy?  principles? ...... we talkin' about principles?  :drink:

Don't get me wrong, I love Frank an all for like bringin' life back to winter and crap, but I may be a little too old for all this drama.  :drink: does anybody remember the eddie murphy bit
where he portrays a starving dude acting like any old slop was finger lickin' gourmet crap, ok well that's me with the cats winning in basketball :drink: so this ck drama is really starting
to wear on a brotha.  :drink:

In summary, lets get curtis in the game, get in a groove and tear some crap up :drink:........ :chainsaw:
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.
