I have no problem with option long side.  Short side never seemed to work well in 2001-2004.  Now with CC its just an asset to opposing defenses.

What about that play on defense where we let them run up the middle for first downs? That one seems ineffective, at least to the untrained eye.

I can't even mentally process our defense right now.

The option short side just shows how the game has passed sndyer by.  LBs are too fast even with small school teams to run that crap.

I don't think college LBs are much if any faster than early 2000s
