Surprisingly, LHC Bill Snyder and George O’Leary are only acquaintancesAsk LHC Bill Snyder about an opposing football coach, and he normally offers up some kind of story about him.Rick Neuheisel, Terry Allen, Paul Rhoads … He has talked about all three this season. Last year he often spoke about his friendships with Tom Osborne, Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden. But he apparently isn’t good pals with Central Florida coach George O’Leary. Both have been in the business for years and years, but their paths have rarely crossed.“I don’t know George well,” Snyder said.O’Leary said he met Snyder in the 1980s when he was an assistant coach with Syracuse and Snyder was the offensive coordinator at Iowa.“That’s how long ago it was,” O’Leary said. But they haven’t spent much time around each other since.“I know Bill,” O’Leary said. “We haven’t played ever, though.”Both coaches are looking forward to their first game against each other Saturday.Snyder has been very complimentary of Central Florida this week, and O’Leary says “Snyder has built a hell of a program.”According to Central Florida, the Wildcats are scheduled to return the game in Orlando in 2012, and O’Leary thinks K-State fans “will love the trip.”But Saturday’s game is up first. O’Leary says taking his team to the Midwest for the first time will be a fun experience. He’s also looking forward to seeing Snyder Family Stadium.“I don’t usually play in stadiums named after guys unless they’re dead,” O’Leary said. “I think it’s an honor to play there.” * By Kellis RobinettRead more: http://blogs.kansas.com/kstated/2010/09/24/surprisingly-bill-snyder-and-george-oleary-are-only-acquaintances/#ixzz10UadCL4X

Don't bet on that return game
KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting
