KSTATEO

Yeah.

Quote from: tcj article
Over the years, university officials concluded techniques once thought proper for handling scientific and occupational waste no longer held up to modern standards enforced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

"Back in the day, they told you to bury them," Galitzer said. "We're finding out it was less than OK. I wish we had never started."

This is about as KSTATEO as you can get :ksu:

i thought the same thing.   he's a college professor, he works at a college.  it's the place where they do research and experiments and stuff to find out what's good and what's bad.  he's the one that's supposed to tell "they" what to tell him.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I'm not as well versed on environmental pollution as I should be, but still I'm not sure why you'd trust the EPA all that much, especially back in the 80's. It seems kinda counterintuitive when they tell you to bury stuff with toxic chemicals in the ground considering groundwater and all

Back then, the Federal Government told the ranchers living next to the Nevada Test Site not to worry about those Mushroom looking clouds that popped up every now and then.

Other schools have faced the exact same sort of problems.

Oooh, so Mother Nature needs a favor?! Well maybe she should have thought of that when she was besetting us with droughts and floods and poison monkeys! Nature started the fight for survival, and now she wants to quit because she's losing. Well I say, hard cheese
