Super secrety inside info received yesterday in Larry...
« on: Today at 09:10:38 AM »

My main man, Lew Perkins is going down hard, hard, hard.  Rodney singing like a canary.

Indictments coming soon....

1)  Huge kickback from Adidas contract not reported in any compensation or tax reporting.
2)  Massive amounts of missing funds from the Gridiron project.

I just can't imagine getting paid that much money and still feeling the need to pilfer and receive kickbacks.  This info is very reliable.  You can believe it or not.  Its ugly.

Chancellor received same information....that is why Lew was sent packing.

Which Gridiron project are you referring to?  The new Anderson complex and Kivisto Field, or the Gridiron Club that never got off the ground?  I wouldn't think the Gridiron Club ever really had any funds to begin with, so it would be difficult to take anything.

Gridiron Club....which apparently did have funds to kick it off.

Conjecture on my part- It cost money to do mock-ups, design, artist work, etc.

I've seen other people in other places talk about this.

I'll also say that there is no other school that comes close to being all over the map on their financial reporting than ku.   From their IRS filing, to their annual report, to what they report to the NCAA to what they report to the Department of Education, there's literally a 20-25% difference in the numbers depending on the report.   Other schools . . . there's typically about 5-8% difference at most depending on the report.   There also almost always the last school to have their EADA information updated every year.

If you read their IRS filing, they should have had no problem using some of their net profits in getting the Gridiron Club started, if you read their NCAA and DOE financial reports, it's pretty obvious why they couldn't get the gridiron club started.

It's fascinating.

All the Tardville theories about why Lew was sent packing early really make no sense.   They didn't want his input on the new AD hire?? Really, if there's nothing wrong why would you send supposedly the best AD in ku history packing months before his actual retirement date and why wouldn't you want his input on the next AD??

What cracks me up is that they all actually think there is a donor who writes a $2M+ check on a whim to get him out due to a bad FB game.  I have heard this theory from several of them.

Retards.

Might just have to sign up over there....  :lick:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

This isn't too far removed from Tardville fans bragging that Perkins was the most gifted sports executive in the history of sports.  He certainly was "gifted", like to the tune of about $6.4 million over the last 2 years (that we know about).

Just a little bump for this.

Apparently this has Finally hit Tardville . . . the usual suspects in Tardville are doing their very best to explain and invalidate.

New Tardville logic, "Why would ku have given him his final bonus if he did anything wrong."

Give Chancellor Bernie some credit . . . if she wants the guy gone early, why embroil yourself in yet another financial and legal $hitstorm before the ones you've already got on your plate are resolved.   Plus, it's not been verified anywhere that they've actually paid Perkins his money yet.  If they have, that likely came with some advice to tuck it away for awhile.

Yesterday Chancellor Bernie told the Regents that ku is contemplating civil actions in these matters.

Tardville had better hope that the NCAA is doing their usual   act and that nobody walks in and hands the usual asleep enforcement staff some articles from a few key sources printed off the old Interwebs.   But wait, the new NCAA President wants tougher sanctions.

guy from 610 said this morning that Denny Thum(SP) didn't get pushed out of the Chiefs by Pioli, but that he left because the KU AD spot was open.

Tards gotta be loving this.

Has anyone heard that Univ of Virginia AD is front-runner, Craig Littlepage?
