It isn't a universal filter, its individual. People who have the filter enabled, all of their posts are censored. If they quote a post with a word like eff in it, it will show up as eff in my post but shazbot! in their post.

I just giggle a little bit when, in an original post, someone completely unjokingly types out "shazbot!". But speaking of shazbot! in quotes. It is kinda cool to see the same post quoted different times and you notice who has their filter on.
