Finally got around to watching MH 2 nights ago.  Good stuff.  Slender Man freaks me right the eff out.  Gotta agree with Cire, BWP just wasn't the same the 2nd time around.  I imagine that would hold true with Paranormal Events and MH.  (The only three things I have found genuinely scary in recent memory.)

Those are so much more in line with the horror movies of old.  The scare came from the mind of the viewer, the anticipation of what might be there.  Very much in line with the Alfred Hitchcock type of horror flick.

Why I'll argue that the first Jaws was scary as crap when I was a little kid.   So many rough ridin' nightmares.   so, so many.  :frown:

Jaws is solely responsible for my fear of swimming in any large body of water.  I'll do it, but I'm still always a little afraid something is going to eat me.
