I'm trying to figure out how the Good Cats ended up scoring 24 more points. Dylan's return and that beautiful swoop-interception (TM) by Garber were both +7 plays, obviously, so that's a good start. Arizona's cornucopia of penalties (and our disciplined play - i.e., lack of penalties) was big, as was the turnover advantage. Credit to Avery for avoiding dangerous throws despite a few major overthrows, I guess.
The D was incredibly impressive in the 2nd half, obviously. Seemed like our D line and LBs got pressure on Fifita despite rushing fewer guys. I guess the lead effectively took away their ability to mix in the run and surprise us, but full credit to the D.
After we went up 21-7 early in Q3, you could see defeat in Arizona's eyes to the extent that I thought, "Wtf? The lead is only 14, and they're giving up?" They must have felt pretty outplayed/outclassed (aside from their ridiculous WR) in a way I couldn't fully appreciate as a casual FB fan.
