These were on close-out pricing for $1 Friday. Got 2 before I knew of the football connection.

Are you gonna give us a rough ridin' review, or not?

Toasted w/ melty butter on top
Of you mean the old kind without frosting, you are the winner. Pop tarts for a real man.
Correct!

Either way. gotta have that butter
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I sensed no waffle taste. The unfrosted part was waffle-yellow though. Otherwise just regular frosted pop tart with maple-ish whatever inside.

Their pitch:

Flaky, buttery crust paired with sweet, iconic maple flavored filling with yellow icing--this toaster pastry combines all the best elements of Eggo® and Pop-Tarts®.

If you want pop tarts generally and those are $1 instead of $3, sure.

My favorite element about Eggo is yellow :dunno:

The American filme The Coneheads had several memorable parts and one that always stuck in my brain was their highly technical description of Eggo waffles

Guys, I wanted to go to the game, but Florida? Why couldn’t it have been somewhere else. Like SD people are already gonna be flooding the area. I wanna go back to KS for Christmas but flights from there are gonna be insane. It also doesn’t make sense to just fly back to TX to then fly to Florida.

Rent a house with a pool, hit a park or two (maybe not), go to a couple high-end chain steakhouses, play a round of golf, maybe a nice little brunch on a patio.

I can do all of that in TX, tho. For a lot less cheese too.

Chocolate chip, untoasted.

I don’t think I’ve put a pop tart in the toaster since I was a child.

I also have tried the Eggo variety, and it's rather bland.  I can smell the maple syrup flavoring as it toasts, but it's just meh to eat.  The Apple Jacks collab was equally disappointing, but at least I finished that box.

We have Frosted Cookies & Cr?me and Frosted Chocolate Chip in the house, but I'm a basic Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Strawberry cat.  I'll have to work some Frosted Cherry into the rotation.

kono

The best pop tart is brown sugar cinnamon, followed closely by smore. I always toast them. They are about 1000x worse cold.
