Nowell with six of our 11 turnovers. Ouch, that's the game right there. Massoud climber the ladder to gather 4 rebounds. Progress I guess.
Are you complaining about Nowell? lol

Maybe he didn’t make it to the stat line with the 10 assists.  Just saw that Nijel bombed 15 threes today, LAWL.

still a very athletic team, especially the big guys.  I like the makeup of the roster

don’t care a bit that we lost though

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'm complaining about a point guard turning it over six times.  Do you find that acceptable? He tends to be careless or reckless with the ball and needs to clean it up.

Well I watched the game instead of just looking at missed shots, turnovers, and fouls on a box score. Nowell was awesome, we absolutely lose that game by 20 without him. Two of those turnovers were charges, one when he was absolutely shoved from behind. He had 10 damn assists and should have had more. He did a great job running the offense. If you want to complain, complain about the 5 missed 3s, K-State was brick city in the second half.

I already told you this season will be filled with one or two possession losses. We got about 4 or 5 more left in us.

I do legit feel bad for this staff though, especially Henderson and Southwell, they don't deserve this and I wonder if Henderson will ever get a job this good.

He can get better and needds to. What's wrong with addressing flaws. Cleanup the effing turnovers, and he takes a step to the next level.

What's crazy to me is this team has two guys that are very real candidates to be 1st team all conference, for of the five starters will make one of the all conference teams, but we're likely to finish 8th or 9th in the conference, it's astounding.

i know i have a habit of being very pessimistic, but my thoughts are 1) a big part of the reason we have been able to hang in some of these games has been us shooting lights out from 3, and i have a hard time thinking we can sustain such good 3 pt shooting all season. 2) none if it is going to matter if we don't have more than 8 guys suited up. these dudes are running out of gas and hard to blame them

What are you basing the shooting the lights out on?

i dunno, you take away Nowell and the rest of the starters were like 46% from 3 against WVU. On the whole the team was 38.2% which seems pretty good. Maybe i'm just eye testing it, but especially the first halves of the OU and WVU games it felt like they almost couldn't miss from 3. Against OU on the game we were 45.5% from 3. These 2 games we lost by a single possession. Against UT we shot a more pedestrian 30.4% from 3 and lost by double digits. In all 3 of those games we managed to get out to double digit leads in the first half. With good 3 pt shooting we keep it close (and lose), with modest 3 pt shooting we get pantsed.

The team isn’t even in the top 150 in D1 for 3 point % on the year, we aren’t shooting the lights out.

yes i realize we are 153 on the season but i think that is due in large part to the fact that McGuirl and Associates opened a 24/7 brick factory for the first month and a half of the season. All I was trying to say was that in the last few games (texas excluded) the 3 pt shooting has been a lot better. 6 of the last 9 games the 3 percentage for the team has been at least 38.5%
