So, funny story....
« on: June 03, 2010, 01:55:11 PM »
I was picking up a couple of kids that I was watching from the Bob Chipman basketball camp today. C-Kell & JamSam were there for us and Brady Morningstar was there for KU. At the end of the camp each player was asked to say something. Curtis & Jamar both nailed their speech, then in comes Brady (probably drunk ). He was asked to put the mic closer to his mouth after a while of talking because nobody could really hear him. Then he was telling the kids, "Always listen to your parents, you don't think they are right but the majority of the time they are. You can start making your own decisions at the age of 21." Wait, why 21 Brady? Why not 18 when you legally become an adult. What happens at 21???? :drink:

Anyways thought it was pretty funny because a couple of parents by me started laughing when he said that and were like 21? WTF?!?! :curse:

Oh yeah, and the kids got in a big huddle after this and the players decided to say "Jay-Cats" on three. Made my ears bleed.

Yeah seriously, should have said something along the lines of "Like when you're dad said 'never turn down a good deal, son' ".
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I'll give it a 1.4 on the funny scale.  That would be out of 10 and 10 being the funniest.  :dunno:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Give Brady a break . . . it only took him five extra years to qualify for college.
