Posted some info in the fball board about info from my conference source.

I have some hoops related gossip that you all might (WILL!) enjoy.

A certain super-wealthy donor to a south school is carefully watching things unfold as far as realignment goes....and if a certain school to the east gets the shaft, then a certain hoops coach who may/may not rock a hairpiece is going to be offered the biggest $$$$$ contract of any current hoops coach in the country to try and lure him back to his "home" (again). 

And it certainly would happen, since hairpiece coach wouldn't want to be coaching hoops in the mwc.

i know none of these have titles as coaches, but all have been great mid-major coaches......alford will be considered great eventually (and i don't care if they did or did not cheat)

if ku ends up in a non bcs league, i could see bill self leaving for the #nba #spurs may be a fit w buford connection

 

The basketball coach was clear in his preference to keep the Big 12 the way it is, stating the men's basketball coaching job is "not as attractive if we're not a BCS conference."
