I've become obsessed with "Cinderella" by Remi Wolf these last few weeks.  IDK why because their styles are not anywhere near the same but she gives me some real strong Janis Joplin vibes.

Does any jazz standard have a more pure melancholy vibe than "In a Sentimental Mood" by Duke Ellington and John Coltrane?

it’s hard to believe that rap music has gone from this to whatever it is now

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Self Esteem's A Complicated Woman is great - a lot of pop music with a choir.  There are a couple of tracks in there that don't fit with the rest of the album, unfortunately.  I went back and listened to her Prioritize Pleasure which is more dancey and is fantastic as well.

Little Simz new album has some songs that remind me of The Streets but each track is pretty unique.  My favorite rap album so far this year.

"Numb" is a great song to enjoy about 40 minutes into a threshold run on a cool summer evening. Honestly a better feeling than the realization that you are shifting from Pak Level 2 => 3.
