i don't totally understand why the offense is catching all the heat. defense was equally if not more shitty, particularly in the second half on saturday.

This makes things more relevant to this point though.

https://www.footballstudyhall.com/pages/2017-kansas-state-advanced-statistical-profile

Note the percentile performances for the offense and defense for OU. Offense is at 83%, even with that 3rd quarter, while defense is a laughable 18%. UT was even worse at 16%.

But then the offense has 9% and 10% performances vs Vandy and TCU.

Nothing will change until Snyder's ready to go.  Like it or not.

I've stopped going to the games not to prove a point or anything, but because the games I'd gone to this year have been depressing and boring.  We're just a fringe bowl team and exceedingly boring.

I brought my "I care" level down to a "oh, the game is on?  Let me check the score app" level and I feel wonderful.

Eventually physical sports will be boiled down to a random number generator.  :emawkid:

ive always been a big sunshine pumper (still have hope for oscar's squad) but the light inside me has died when it comes to emaw football.

the talent isn't far off last year. questionable play calls, questionable roster decisions, disgruntled players, and playing all-around shitty...just burn it all down.

What did Florida State (Bowden) and Penn State (Paterno) do? Two entrenched coaches that stayed way too long.

More details emerging as to just how lame AF our head coach is about recruiting and it’s intentional.   Tiny amount of resources devoted to recruiting relative to other P5 schools (it’s not a money problem).

Well connected alums getting viable information about legit P5 prospects (who are very interested in Kstate) to the Kstate football offices.   That’s not followed up on.

Whole periods of no contact from the Kstate.

Kstate backing off prospects straight out when interest from other P5 schools heats up.   Because Snyder just doesn’t want to deal with it.

That is not the least big surprising to me, which is just another reason that this needs to be his last year. This entire coaching staff needs to go out to pasture.

Bowden was forced out.
Paterno is a non comparison not only because of that little pedo thing but at the end he truly was not coaching. He was literally pooping his pants (not a joke) and he spent most of the time in the press box.

I really hope we don't have a paternoesque situation here in the future (non pedo related) but with a spineless AD and the whole gang together I could see it albeit with turmoil

Funny how these reports magically appear on every down year.  :dubious:

I know you’re a super fan who can’t stand reality.

But we’ve lost 22 straight to final Top 25 Teams, we’re going to lose at least 4 games for the 5th consecutive season and a whole bunch of other extremely mediocre stuff.

So which is it WackyTuck? Recruiting, coaching or both?

I think nothing has changed comparatively, but that's just me. Keep listening to your fake insider conspiracy weirdos tho.

If anything, we've whiffed on high profile recruits. Pringle, Walker, Strickland, etc.

I don’t consider former players who work with recruits, inside conspiracy theory weirdos.  Nor do I consider sports architects who have literally designed and seen the staffing of recruiting centers at other schools to be inside conspiracy theory weirdos.

“High Profile” recruit is a relative term at Kstate.

But by all means WackyTuck, immerse yourself in the malaise.

Just another K-State fan that's just happy to be here.

like with the poop too?  :Yuck:
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

When do we become a version of paternoesque? If the staff comes back next year? 2 more? 3?

There are few of us now, soon
There will be none. We were wildcats
Together, we believed we
Would see with our own eyes the new
World where fan was no longer
Squawk to fan, but men and women
Were all EMAW and EPAW
Together. We will not see it.
We will not see it, none of us.
It is farther off than we thought.
In our young days we believed
That as we grew old and fell
Out of rank, new recruits, young
And with the wisdom of youth,
Would take our places and they
Surely would grow old in the
Purple Age. They have not come.
They will not come. There are not
Many of us left. Once we
Marched in closed ranks, today each
Of us fights off the enemy,
A lonely isolated powercat.
All this has happened before,
Many times. It does not matter.
We were wildcats together.
Life was good for us. It is
Good to be brave — nothing is
Better. Food tastes better. Wine
Is more brilliant. Girls are more
Beautiful. The sky is bluer
For the chiefs — for the chiefs and
Happy wildcats and for the
Lonely brave retreating warriors.
You had a good life. Even all
Its sorrows and defeats and
Disillusionments were good,
Met with courage and a true heart.
You are gone and we are that
Much more alone. We are one fewer,
Soon we shall be none. We know now
We have failed for a long time.
And we do not care. We few will
Remember as long as we can,
Our children may remember,
Some day the world will remember.
Then they will say, “They lived in
The days of the good wildcats.
It must have been wonderful
To have been alive then, though it
Is very beautiful now.”
We will be remembered, all
Of us, always, by all fans,
In the good days now so far away.
If the good days never come,
We will not know. We will not care.
Our lives were the best. We were the
Happiest fans alive in our day.
