it was kinda fun tbh.  not like "omg amazing landmark movie", but good escape.

i watched mulholland drive for the first time the next day and my brain has forever melded the two "plot" lines together

Yeah, I liked La La Land a lot more than I expected to. It wasn't the best movie I watched in 2016, but it sticks in your mind because you go into it expecting to be sleeping an hour in, and walk out smiling.

of the best pic noms I saw (Lion, Hell or Highwater, Arrival, Moonlight, Fences) Lion and Arrival were my favs. I'm probs gonna watch Manchester this week
