I am upset that a judge is forcing Camille Cosby to give a deposition against Bill.  This is not right. A person who is legally married should not be forced to do this, civil or criminal case.

The law, and legal precedent dating before the constitution recognize spouses as being one entity.  You cannot be forced to testify against yourself.  I know there are some exceptions.  I think Bill Cosby is a lowife turd, but this is more important.  Let's not destroy marriage. And yes if the state says gayz are legally married, it applies equally.

Many states have a spouse privilege that works a lot like the attorney client privilege. The idea is that you should be able to share absolutely anything with that person without being afraid of their using your words against you.

Both privileges come with exceptions. Also, I think in either case a spouse can testify to plenty of other things besides the actual content of conversations.
