What an ugly, grinder type game against a pretty bad Colorado State team. Shooting continues to be a struggle. Edwards, Westicles, and Wade made enough plays to win.

When you consider the amount of adversity this team had to overcome (finals, practice, etc.) I think pulling out a win (away from home no less) speaks volumes about this club.

You're not even factoring in that CSU shook things up on us by having their best player break his hand in practice this week and not play.  No tape on CSU without that guy to help prepare.

Yep, them shooting under 35% eFG and only getting 1/4 of their misses....we should have won by 17-20. But as I mentioned in other thread....2pt FG only thing we did decent on Offense

That was an embarrassing effort of a game.  We won.  It should have been a blowout.  Guys seemed afraid to shoot.  Big Meat plays poor defense in my book, that 15 guy made him look slow, like a elephant trying to breed a chicken.   Deathbite loafs up the floor and we have about 21 seconds to run a play.  We respect for Hot Horndogs went up he was having to direct eveyone where to go.  I cringe at what conference play will be like.

With the new rules, FT % will likely be the difference in most conference games. We've done a good job on that front, so I think we have a chance.

I don't mind winning ugly, that's pretty much the only way we've done it since Frank.

We overcame an actual lineup where Budke and Roheleder were playing at the same time.  If that isn't adversity, I don't know what is.

All I know is that the crowd size sucked...It's Wichita people, is there something better going on that I don't know about???

I had a lot of Christmas shopping to do. Still not done.

I was pretty disappointed in the crowd not only was it thin, but it felt small.  I could hear a pin drop, or oscar's raspy voice, at times. 
During the first half, the side i was sitting behind (101) was Colorado State's, so i'd do my best to make some noise on D.  Not only was no one around me at all interested in joining in.  I got more than few looks like "Hey buddy, you mind?"   Like, wtf? why go to a live sporting event if you want to pretend like its a movie theater or the opera or some jazz like that?
