I vaguely remember him appreciating our efforts at the west virginia wichiPAK.  His family didn't.

Walked through the Colbert Hills locker room this summer and saw his locker.  I smiled and enjoyed that.

I hope they always keep it for him.

Interviewed him once as a student on-campus reporter for the Capital-Journal about the ill-advised reorganization attempt of -- was it 1989?
He and the Wefer stepped in it on that one (were going close the best architectural school in the state among other unpopular items). Caused near riots some might remember, an Krause was for a time the most unpopular person on campus.
Thing about the Wefer/Krause team was their ability admit mistakes (Ron Prince) and move on.
