This could have changed in the past month or two, but due to the shape of the new NEZ to connect the north to the east, we'll actually slightly lose capacity due to how it all works out architecturally.

Whatever the northmost section of the student section is, will be partially removed, thus reducing capacity of the stadium. Like I said earlier, i'm not sure if things have changed or not, but matching the two elevations and stair/seating slopes is going to be tough.

You guys sat in section 9 then, those bleachers no longer exist.

Like I said earlier, i'm not sure if things have changed or not, but matching the two elevations and stair/seating slopes is going to be tough.in other words, they're doing exactly what they did in the NW corner. the rake of the seating bowl is identical in both corners and, therefore, in both corners, you're going to see retaining walls where the NEZ seats/party decks meet with bowl seats. the only difference b/w NE and NW corners is that one is party deck and the other is band seats.
I work with a lot of Penn State grads who brag about their stadium capacity of 106,572. Our 53,000 seems so paltry in comparison. How do I fire back about how BSFS is still awesome. (Paterno jokes are a no go).
