The play calling where we finally scored on sneak ( after burning a to) was frustrating.
But overall I think our play calling was impaired by crappy field position.
No. We didn't use the running backs effectively at all, we got unnecessarily cute inside the red zone, and that pass inside of the 10 yard line with 40 seconds left and no UTSA timeout left was the dumbest thing I have seen in a while (minus the Jackson State kneeling at the end of regulation and the Jackson State taking a 20 yard sack in overtime).
The field position, caused by 3 special teams penalties by the way, was why we were conservative, it wasn't the reason the play calling was amateur hour.
