I read just now where CA Gov. Brown wants EPA to lower ozone standards to proposed levels. This sounds alright until you hear the details. By 2040 such standards would cost us 1.7 trillion to meet, and 1.4 million jobs lost. It time to think about the cost of environmental regulations that only push benefits a small way down the road. It's like insurance, at some point you can't afford it so you live with the risk. May some collateral damage will have to excepted with a less clean environment.
