I could actually see Johnson starting next season alongside Selby and Taylor.

that'd be a really small lineup.  and hard to imagine that self is suddenly going to leave morningstar and reed on the bench.  not to mention, wasn't releford supposed to be tearing practice apart?

Reed and Morningstar came off the bench last year.  I don't see Releford starting, either.

Hopefully you don't. That'd spell big time trouble for KU. Releford blows.

Releford is every bit as good as Rodney McGruder, if not better.

'member before the season when you said Relaford would play significant minutes and was really good.... and I told you that, if he did, KU was in trouble.... and you said BS.... but then he red shirted.... yeah

LOL City on this one.  Myself, all of EMAW Nation, and 10 other B12 coaches call BS on this.
How on earth do you come to this conclusion? Are you a Miege booster? What about Relafords frosh season stands out against Rodneys frosh season?

Pffffffttttttt..... the only reason he redshirted was because KU was stacked at the guard position.  Releford looked like the best player on the court at Late Night, and was tearing it up in practice all season long.  The guy is good.  Just wait and see for yourself, hater.

so self was wasting the best player on the court in favor of playing (but not really playing) elijah?  I mean, jfc, why didn't tyshawn redshirt?

Elijah played early in the season because Morningstar was suspended.

Because you're acting as if Releford sucks simply because he redshirted.  Jamar Samuels redshirted and he turned out to be a pretty good player.  I truly believe that KU would have been a more complete team last year with Releford on the court instead of Morningstar.

He "looked" like the best player on the court at Late Night.  Obviously there were some things he needed to work on, though.

Not just one scrimmage.  According to Bob Davis, Releford and Little looked like two of the best players on the team during NCAA tournament practices.  Releford was giving Henry fits during practices all season long.  The guy is good.  Deal with it.

Sounds to me like he looked like the best player on the floor at times when the rest of the team traditionally are not trying that hard.  Late night is nothing more than an extended game of grab ass(been there to see for my self) and during the NCAA practices(as few as KU had) most players are trying to physically recoup for the next game.

Yeah... a guy who is constantly around the basketball program, constantly watching the team practice, couldn't possibly know what he's talking about.
