
K-State played the worst offensive half of basketball I've ever witnessed.
And still almost won. I mean, oscar had his perfect script in hand; bench his conference player of the year and the rest of the starters and his hardworking 2nd group (kinda, because Gip) would pull an epic comeback. Ultimate team buy in, compete in the Big 12, and win back some fans after the epic loss earlier this week.
Only it didn't win. The Cats did battle all the way back because of Gip's great play and even took the lead. But then Gip took a jumper, Georgia took away Gip, and predictably no one could score. As a result a guy who didn't even see the floor much of December took the game tieing shot and wasn't close.
And now K-State basketball is staring clearly at its first below .500 season since 2003.
