Back right, lower right and lower left (is that charcoal and white?) are good for K-State hats. Powercats just look bad on a hat imo. Saw some serpentine K-State hats and that looks bad too.

Navy blue.  The powercat's barely outlined in purple, and there's a really small cursive "Wildcats"  in purple on the back.

The one right next to it is better in real life than in that picture.  It's a little darker, and the powercat doesn't stand out as much.  More or less a completely solid purple hat.

So I think it's entirely possible to find calm, non-embarrassing EMAW hats.  They just aren't marketed, because the sellers know their audience.
