I haven't purchased a comic book in the better part of two decades. Bought a couple Guardians of the Galaxy digital copies after watching the movie last night.

So Guardians of the Galaxy is actually pretty good or are you saying this ironically?

Its good but overrated. I mean it was fairly funny and all but jesus christ people, it wasn't exactly a masterpiece.

This is a thread for the best comic-based movie. Simply being good puts it right up near the top 5. This movie is better than good, though. It's great.

Then there are also the Alien movies, Galaxy Quest, Moon, Total Recall, and probably others I'm not thinking of. Lots of competition.
