Another rape case botched by another university
« on: March 19, 2015, 02:25:49 AM »
Columbia police have closed their investigation into the suicide of Sasha Menu Courey.  ESPN's Outside the Lines did a moving story on her case.

If you have 20 minutes out of your day to read/hear something depressing, its an astonishingly shocking story about the failures of a university to help a student in crisis when they had multiple opportunities to intervene in a meaningful way.  Its a stunningly bad look for Mizzou, especially in these interviews conducted by ESPN.  As these interviews unfolded I kept wondering to myself how these coaches and administrators would react if this was their daughter.

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue

Yes, this one was amazingly bad. And it didn't really stick much around the kc/missouri area. Alden never should have survived it.

Why are universities so bad at dealing with rape issues.   They even reduced this girl's scholarship for the soccer team because she wasn't fit.  She wasn't fit because she didn't rehab a knee injury with that whole rape ptsd thing.
