The dreaded COLD SORE

Does anyone know a way to treat a cold sore? I figure the collective knowledge on here alone could cure it.  Thanks for any positive feedback!

That's how not to get it.  I kissed the wrong girl and already got it. Now it's brought on by stress on the body (lack of sleep, sickness, stress) hence the nickname cold sore.

Yeah, the unfortunate thing is the recovery time.  I would be willing to pay a bit if I  knew a treatment would help hide and/or diminish the issue.  I am a long time sufferer but short time goEMAWer.  This community is full of people who are part of the #FAMILY and if anyone knows something I don't or has a recommendation for something specific I'd be insanely appreciative.
