Cradle of Coaches . . .
« on: January 13, 2014, 08:00:57 PM »
Two former K-State Coaches in a row.

Both took teams to Final Four after coaching at K-State.

This is what elite programs do.

Actually, three former K-State coaches, Gardner, Kruger and Huggins, took teams to the final four after leaving Manhattan (Gardner went to two while here).

I will confess I get really tucky when I see that Cradle of Coaches picture of them sitting in the high-up stands in an empty Ahearn.

Don't think it's tucky.  It's a pretty radical photo.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Am I safe in saying that MHK is to bball coaches as Youngstown is to fball coaches?

Just look at it. It's great. Look at that dope-ass old timey K-State binder Tex is holding. Pretty sure SB dad still uses that exact model.

Cotton: Hey man, I put gold in the the official colors. I'm gonna do me.
