The progression of Jake Waters

It has been non-existent.  I don't think he is any better than he was against NDSU.  Meanwhile, we squandered a year of development for our sophomore QB who fits our system like a glove.  It's a travesty.

Less injuries for Sams in a conceded rebuild year?   :dunno:

He is definitely better than he was against NDSU. He still isn't very good though.

Can someone with HFBIQ explain why short throws towards the sideline are so hard for him? It is perplexing.

I actually tried to use this thought process today. It didn't make me feel any better.

Coaching staff has to do a better job of scheming for both QBs next year.   Sams is good runner but the number of qb draws compared to the number of snaps he is on the field as QB is just out of control.   I would love to know how many runs Sams had and how many runs Hubert had when Daniel was in the game.

Last season, we mixed plays up so well, defenses were so off balance.  This year, predictable and head scratching at times with both qbs out there

He is consistent with throwing these high. I'm not sure; the only thing I got is that with his side arm delivery he has trouble on these throws getting the ball over the offensive line without throwing high, but not sure.

Taking sacks in week 12 just like week 1.  Maddening.

On one hand, I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who thinks this.  On the other hand, Damnit!  #$&#!  %^*&ing %^#*

I'm just glad that Waters started to get hot at the end of this season and demonstrate why he was chosen over our talented sophomore signal caller, Daniel Sams.  I cannot rough ridin' wait to watch him throw the football all over the field next year in his senior season.  Watch out big 12.  :flush:
