Chip K. getting fired from the Eagles, and no major players in CFB that A) need a coach or B) want him.

What about Chip to UT after he and Mack get fired?

As far as former big 12 QBs go, Scott Frost has to be in the runaway lead.  eff applewhite

Scott Frost would be amazing.

But, sadly, I don't think that would happen for us.

We would have to throw some bob stoops type money to get him I think.

He makes < $400K right now... It wouldn't take that much. Just imagine Sams running that offense

I know it has to be a perfect scenario, but a guy can dream no?

Were you dreaming about nobody wanting Saban after he left the Dolphins, too?

I agree with you, though. Dream big or don't dream at all, I always say.
Saban is a far bigger "get" than Kelly and has been for a long time. Saban no chance. Kelly, verrrry small chance.

Kelly would be a much bigger hire than Pete Carroll was in 2000, when USC gave him a job. There is not a football program in America who wouldn't give Chip a call if they had an opening and he was available.

I think Chip would relate well with the investigative journalism exercised by the GoPo crew if he were to take a job here.

I don't disagree, which is why I said that no major players could have an opening, or if they have another opening, they had some other big name in mind. If it's just "average" schools, we'd have a shot if we bid high enough, but even then a small chance.

Nick Aliotti is a huge pussy.

He was complaining that they were still passing the ball despite having no chance at coming back?  I don't understand...
