It's not just running, how about more variety in runs. QB leads, zone read, stretch read, traditional 2 back runs. There has to be more he can do.

Exactly, if Klein can beat Texas as a soph, only throwing 4 passes, why can't SAMs do something similar?  That defense wasn't much better and Texas was equally as shitty

I can totally see that Waters is a very good QB and a great thrower. But he is playing and we are losing games. To FCS schools and Texas.

I am sure that Waters dominates Sams in all the passing drills they do in practice.

But in a game...where they are scared to death of what Sams can do running...things change. LET SAMS THROW!

he's certainly better than klein. we don't know if he's better than Sams...and that's the issue.

His completion percentage and TD:INT ratio are both worse. Sams is a better passer than Waters.
