Did you guys ever get nervous at your first big boy job?

My first big kid job, I used to stay up late every night studying accounting texts and software manuals, out of sheer terror.

Worked out well in the end.  Fear is a very effective motivator.

This is exactly right.  Don't listen to all these guys calling your out for being nervous and a little scared.  It's normal and can be a good thing as long as  you can control it so you're not a total stuttering idiot around these people.  The best way to fight nerves is to be well prepared probably even over prepared.  You want to know your stuff so well that you're sitting there just hoping they ask you a question.

You sound like an awful person.  Like someone that is just terrible to be around or interact with.

I am expecting a very well prepared and technically sound post in response to that.

I think you'd be surprised.  I'm curious are you basing that off of this one post or my posting in general?  I don't really post here a whole lot.

The above.  I don't recall having read anything else you've posted.  I would be very surprised if I wasn't 100% correct.  Your advice was to be good at your job.  No crap?  Really ground breaking stuff there.  It was also for fanning to put in more time rather than just try to look the part.  rough ridin' fanning.  JFC.  Verdict: you're terrible.

you probably won't be scared anymore when you figure out how incredibly rough ridin' easy your job is.  give yourself a month.
