when i was working in aggieville and the soldiers were in town it was always a bunch of damn chaos. probably 85% of fights involved a soldier.

back in the late 80's, maybe early 90's a bar in aggieville burnt to the ground. anyone remember this? it was caused when a bunch of army guys started an all-out brawl inside. anyways one guy comes up to me with his buddies one night and starts telling me the whole story and how he, him specifically, was the one that knocked something in the back kitchen over and started the fire before they all ran out. i believed him.

Alright, OK_Cat.  I understand you're just fishing for responses.  You definitely got 'em.  You did hit a nerve though.  But in all seriousness, why is there such a stigma towards Soldiers in Manhattan/Aggieville?  I've heard of fights and what not, but is it really that prevalent?  I'm just in the Reserves, but I do know how the full time Army bullet-catchers can get.

My Dad is a retired Vietnam Vet infantry drill sergeant and every time he goes to Manhattan he comments about how awful and disgusting Riley rats are, he says they have the worst rep in the Army.

Seeing fatty's epic first post was like going back and watching man invent fire.  Most of the cavemen stood around in awe of the fire but a few dumbass cavmen took it upon themselves to get drunk off of fermented berries and piss the fire out.
