Just bought a pair of Maui Jims a couple weeks ago. Blows away the old pair of raybans I used to have, and destroys the wayfayer I currently have.

The fit is unreal. Can't even tell you're wearing then because they're so light. And the lens themselves are amazing. Would recommend.

My wife and I have some Maui's prescription.  I never wear them unless I have allergies like crazy.  They are pretty rough ridin' nice.

If anyone is looking for like great performance/value, Action Optics (now Smith Optics) are probably the best if you want glass lenses.  I think to get better it'd have to be Maui's or Costa's or some other smaller boutique companies I'm unaware of.

Yep.  have had mine for 4 yrs.  They are pretty good with taking normal wear too.  I am going to get them in prescription this summer because I am rough ridin' old and my eyes are betraying me.

just ordered these for 8 bucks.  sunglasswarehouse.com is a good site for glasses that don't have a designer sticker on the frames, but are otherwise pretty sharp.

just saw that you can redeem 25,000 hawaiian airline miles for a "maui jim choice gift card" which apparently lets you choose any pair of maui jims free inclusive of taxes and fees...even the >$300 ones.

might try this on my next hawaiian card churn.
